Missouri Botanical Garden to close early on Thanksgiving this year
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) - The Missouri Botanical Garden announced it will be closing at noon on Thanksgiving Day this year.
Additionally, the garden will not be hosting Garden Glow on Thanksgiving Day this year. Garden Glow will resume Friday, November 24, at 5 p.m.
The garden’s other branches in Chesterfield and Gray Summit will also close or close early for the holiday.
Missouri Botanical Garden Daytime Hours

- Thursday, November 23 | Closing at Noon
- Friday, November 24 | Open 9 a.m.–4 p.m. (last entry at 3:30 p.m.)
- There will be no early walking hours on Thursday or Friday.
Garden Glow

- Friday, November 24 | Open 5 p.m.–9:30 p.m. (last entry at 8:30 p.m.)
Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House

Shaw Nature Reserve

MoBOT also had to cancel its Garden Glow Monday due to rain.
People who had tickets for Monday’s event will be able to use them for entry on another Garden Glow evening through Jan. 6, 2024, with no exchange of tickets being necessary.
